Dr. Dickson attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He then obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1998.
During podiatric school, Dr. Dickson completed three externships with very respected podiatrists in Texas at Columbia Kingwood Medical Center under Dr. Randal Lepow, Columbia West Houston Medical Center in the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency under Dr. Samuel Mendicino, and the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio under Dr. Lawrence Harkless.
Dr. Dickson completed the postgraduate podiatric surgical residency program at the Dallas Southwest Medical Center. Following his postgraduate training, Dr. Dickson moved to Corpus Christi and went into private practice for Corpus Christi Podiatry Associates. After four years there, he opened his own practice in 2003, and he is also the Chief of Podiatry at Spohn Hospital since 2012. Dr. Dickson has maintained an active podiatric private practice in Corpus Christi for twenty years.
